Another run to Re-Source (nee Recycle North) and Goodwill followed by reloading and a trip to the Essex recycling center, then storage locker 1021. Good thing we have a truck.
U-Haul has a good assortment of moving boxes. We're getting to be regulars there.
Then more fun stuff, another stop at the new digs. Nothing changed on the exterior, but inside ...
A rubber chicken in the garage. This could be some sort of voodoo, or a toy left behind by Dakota Dog. We think the latter. There was a larger stick left in the neighboring house in case someone missed the small one she left last week. "I'm a Labrador Retriever. Won't somebody please throw something? Please?"
The kitchen half-wall has been extended a foot to match the specs. Good.
Basement stairs.
The crew framed in the basement walls. We're not having it really finished, but studded, wired, and drywalled, and presumably not counted [taxed] as living space.
The 2nd floor 'sitting area' flooring trimmed to size. Instead of sitting in the basement at the computer here, I hope to be up there sometime in the future.
Ginnie checking out the view from the rear upstairs bedroom.
Flowering trees in the woods behind. We'll have to learn what they are.
