quiet on the inside

Nothing happening inside this morning. Temporary lock sets have been installed in two doors with the rear door screwed shut. They're getting more protective of the project. We may find ourselves on the outside looking in when no one is on the job.

A crew was working on the driveways at lots 21 & 22, and we had two loads of fine stone in our drive. Perhaps we'll get a driveway today.

The hardwood flooring is complete and ~protected by cardboard. We were told that when the cabinets are installed, they'll add another layer of cardboard - lots of boxes accompany cabinets.

Afternoon update - driveway stone has been spread, compacted, ready for paving presumably. Temporary front steps set aside, some regrading in the front,












Kitchen and bath cabinets arrived, stored in the garage along with some fine oak hardwood for stair trim, etc.

An email from a next door neighbor a few days ago said that sales were picking up. Checking the inventory of available units, the number is down to 13 (of 22), a drop of 3 from a month ago.
